One more...

One more striking picture from the fab Lisa Walker.

Alright brides... get your deposits in... 2011 is getting heavy!!!  We like a busy year so bring it on!

As for me right now, analyzing bills- running reports... really - there are much cooler things to be doing.  But, hey, life as a business owner is not always glamorous.  At least I have my coffee and my new, super cool, boots.... jealous much?  With the rain outside and the wellies on my feet I feel a little like I'm in England... maybe I should dump the coffee for a spot a tea.

Have a limey Christmas!

Amazing work by the fab- and, never to be outdone, PFE florist Katie Vernon as well as photog Lisa Walker.  Christmas done with a little punch.  Lime green and magenta bring the holiday to the next level and plays up all the candle light and twinkles surrounding.  Great pics Lisa- always reliably fresh and spicy.

As for me, feeling less spicy than usual.  December and January are always a bit slow for the florist.  I seem to fit in better to hysteria and bountiful bouquets than bordom and bookkeeping.  Even so, I'm keeping up the cheer for all the 2011 brides stopping by this week, and for my fun and frolicsome friends visiting from out of town this week - can't wait.  I did decide to shorten hours due to the dead-time downtown so don't stop by to say hi past 2... I'll be baking cookies at home.

Also wanted to take a minute to wish all of my faithful readers, clients, brides etc. thank you for lovin' on the Peppertree through 2010.  We hope to see much more of you through 2011.  In a matter of months we'll have a new website with on-line ordering... changes are a'comin'.

ALL THE BEST TO YOU!!! (and me too)

Winter Peonies...

Who says spring flowers look out of place any other time of the year?  I love these wintery peony arrangements.  They add a soft touch to all the pine and a wonderful fragrance combination of sweet and spicy.  LOVE!

I am totally in denial about working right now so I thought I'd share beauty instead of stare at the wall some more.  I do have event work to keep me busy but I'm just not feeling it.  Maybe it's because this building is a ghost town.  Was I the last one to know that the week between Christmas and New Years was going to be empty of clients and co-workers?  Either way... much to do.

Best to you and yours through this beautiful wintery time.

Eric Rudd = Amazing!

This was one of my favorite weddings of the year.  Thank Eric Rudd for providing these amazing picture for me to show off.

Currently, drinking coffee trying to stay warm - only 5 degrees out right now .. brrrrrrr.
Tip of the day.  Put an evergreen spray by your heating vent.  It won't last as long but it will fill the whole room with delicious piney smells.

Non weddingy stuff

I realize it's been a while since I've posted any centerpiece pictures.  Here are some to wet the pallet.  Don't forget to call soon to place your order for your holiday party.  That fluffy white stuff outside is gettin' me in the mood.  Ah yeah... don't forget about ordering a wreath while supplies last.  They are pretty darn fab if I do say so myself (pics to follow shortly).
