Peppertree Party

For the first time ever I decided to throw a party for myself! My friend Anne and I got together and had a great time with friends and co-workers in the industry. Fine food (Championship Catering), great drinks (Eagle Pointe Resort bartending) and good tunes care of my hubby. We had such a blast. Here are some pics from the night.

Holiday Priorities

Wondering why I haven't posted lately??? Like anyone else, holidays are busy for me and although Peppertree has been putting out arrangements and events regularly I haven't been very good at taking pictures to share. There have been many a Christmas/Holiday party around here and the shop has been full of holiday well wishers shopping for loved ones.
That being said, my energy has been with these three... my hubby Justin and my babies, Claire and Sammy. We had a great holiday up in Michigan then down to Florida to catch some rays. Thanks to everyone for the Holiday wishes. My best to you!!! Thank you to everyone who helps keep Peppertree going. To many more events and arrangements in 2010! HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Winter Wedding

There are always a couple Winter weddings every year and I always love the option where guests get to bring home a fresh evergreen centerpiece to enjoy through the holidays. This bride purchased mosaic candles to place in the center of each arrangement giving the guests something that will outlive even the evergreens. A color scheme of red and white is easy during this time of year with fresh evergreens in everything.

The bridal was comprised of shades of red roses with pink rose accents. The bridesmaids carried mixed red and white roses.

Pink Garden

Ruth loved gardening and loved the color pink so her family decided to have full pink garden arrangements for her funeral. Such a beautiful family. I hope the arrangements were just what they wanted.

Kind Words

One of my October brides just sent me a nice note:
"Wow! Thank you does not even begin to cover the amount of gratitude we have for you! The flowers for our wedding were so much more than we could have dreamt of! Everything you designed for our day was gorgeous. WE look forward to working with you for years to come." Kari & Jon

Christmas Tree

The Indiana University Auditorium asked if I could help decorate thier Christmas tree and of course I couldn't say no. Nothing like the traditional white lights and red and gold bulbs to make the holiday season seem real.

Thanksgiving... The Peppertree Way

Here are just a few of the Thanksgiving centerpieces I created for clients this year. Flowers on the table make a holiday tablescape complete.

HOLIDAY- Ah yes....

One of my all time favorite times of the year is when my Holiday evergreen shipment comes in. The smell of evergreen takes over the shop and lives here for a month, sometimes more. Here are a couple pictures of my first wreath of the season... love it!

Planning and planning and planning

Just now finding time to blog about it all. The week before last I planned a wedding for such a fun couple. They got married at Beck Chapel with the reception at the Neal Marshall Grand Hall. I had such a blast- and was soooo busy that I only have a few bouquet pictures to share right now. Before long I'm sure I'll get some of the professional pictures from the talented Jenny Grise (http://www.grisephotography.com/). As with any wedding there were little imperfections to the day, but nothing that could come close to disrupting the wonderful beautiful day it was.

Thanks Angie and Ray for including me in such a special day-
